They leaked the **** out of it and a bunch of other movies sent out to be previewed by award commities.

Plus it's only showing in select theaters to accomadate for the large format. They literally have to convert venues to show it in all it's glory. Pretty interesting backstory.

Finally saw The Martian. Thought they did a great job of capturing the overall vibes of the novel - which I thought was going to be really hard for them to pull off. Damon was excellent as Watney and the rest of the cast was really great too.

Ridley Scott brought his A game to this one.

I saw Kubrick's Paths of Glory last night. I enjoyed it, strong 9/10.

The H8ful 8 looks gr8 m8, but I'm looking forward more to AGI's The Revenant. I grabbed a copy of the leak in case I change my mind, but I'm holding off until it comes to theatres. Looks like that kind of movie.

Concussion.

Some parts were a bit overly dramatic, even for a drama. However, I thought the characters were surprising compelling and the film did succeed in making an impression on me. Certainly worth watching.

Booooring.
The story kept meandering and ultimately went nowhere and the characters were lifeless and unengaging. Had high hopes for Waltz' Blofeld, but he was as bland as the rest of the movie.

Hey now, I agree with everything else you said, but Blofeld was excellent. Any scene with him in it was pretty much gold. He may have been basically playing the same character he did in Inglorious Basterds, but it's such a good character that who gives a ****?
