My question was serious.. I don't have a strong grasp of the intricacies of the engrish language. Why is it correct to say running rampant, but if I replace running with posting I have to use rampantly?

"Running rampant" is just a colloquial turn of phrase. The doesn't make it technically correct, but the frequency of use doesn't exactly render it incorrect either.
