what? if there's anyone that should be tired of all these ****ty reboots and mass production of super hero movies it should be comic book fans. why would you want your favourite super heroes getting the DC treatment right now? im still pretty mad about Suicide Squad tbh.

What!?

Why are you mad about Suicide Squad? The only reason I could see being mad about that is if you are a Joker fanboy other than that it was great!

do you judge super hero films in the same way that you do horror? at least in the sense that you judge them seperatley from other films.

i tend to hold all movies to a similar set of standards, for the most part. Suicide Squad just flat out sucked.

I do but even when doing that it was still a pretty good movie overall regardless of it being a comic book movie.

That's funny because you had the exact opposite reaction when I said Batman vs Superman was good. You said only a comic book nerd would understand why it'd be bad when I said it was good. Now you're saying you don't have to worry about it being a comic book movie in regards to Suicide Squad.

Cause I like seeing superheroes. There are a million ****ty superhero comics but they also don't diminish my love of the comics that are good. DC making terrible movies doesn't touch on my feelings toward the Marvel MCU.

And yeah, Suicide Squad being mediocre was pretty bad for me. I'd been looking forward to it since it was announced cause A.) Harley Quinn, and B.) the Suicide Squad is awesome, so seeing it get the ol' DC halfass treatment with a side of joylessness was garbage.

Just curious, but what exactly were you expecting out of them? If they've become known for mediocrity, why would they change?

I wasn't so much expecting it as hoping that DC was trying to make a different kind of superhero movie after seeing how well Guardians of the Galaxy did. Suicide Squad would have been perfect to step outside their wheelbox but DC just didn't have the balls to go all the way with it.

right? the movie sold itself, DC had every reason to use the title to turn their momentum around and yet, they said **** it once again and put out a shell of a movie.
