i thought it was pretty terrible as well. usually love all of his stuff, but it was just so... meh.

I agree. I hated it. Totally not even close to his best stuff. It came off unfinished and rushed, almost like it was one of his podcast episodes.

He's just set a crazy high bar for himself imo. About 50-75% of his podcasts are better than it though.

Phenomenal cinematography and soundtrack, very ominous and nightmarish. Otherwise it was just a cheap ripoff of Repulsion and not as well thought out.

I have to agree with this reviewer. The majority of the film is a painfully dull explanation of rudimentary grade-school physics. Yes, yes… mostly empty space… yes, yes… remarkable that rocks feel solid. Yes, we get it - our world is one of molecular interconnectedness and the autonomy of our form vanishes at the subatomic level. I can only presume that the film aimed to pander to a very ignorant audience, but that sort of demographic doesn’t take the time to watch dialog-focused cinema anyway, so perhaps that’s why I’ve never heard of this film before now.

Mindwalk takes two hours to present the comparatively holistic perspective of system theory as an alternative to the mechanical perspective of a traditional Newtonian world view. Surprisingly there is no mention of general relativity, but that dropped ball was sadly picked up by that wretched What the Bleep? movie.

Innerspace score: 1.5 stars. Verdict: Skip it, even for free on YouTube.

Always wanted to see Doom Generation.

I attempted to watch Sing Street last night (and it's supposed to be excellent) but I ended up watching Earth Girls are Easy for the millionth time instead. I have yet to come across a single person that appreciates that beautiful garbage movie.

Until the last 10 minutes I was sitting there going "well this is nice, but I'm not sure I understand the reaction". Also been watching an excess of Captain Americas because of reasons.
