Yeah the tension in that movie was great. I didn't care about the big bad plus he doesn't really show up much til the end anyways.

The premise and themes of neglect are strong enough to hold it up. The payoff definitely could have been better though.

Think about it though, what's scarier: some family getting killed in a small town or a new incarnation of Slipknot, out there in the world, waiting to make a big impact on the music world with diluted metal ideas?

I love cheesy comic book movies, but they need to branch out more and not be as reliant on the Marvel movie formula. More movies like Logan could help to make superhero movies a viable genre that might stand the test of time rather than being a bubble that will eventually burst.

I know I'm among Melissa McCarthy haters but watched Spy again last night and it's still hilarious. Every time Strathan and McCarthy interact it's pure gold. I don't even know how they were able to get final takes where neither of them broke up.
