It's actually a lot better than it looks and I think that you of all people would do the dick wriggle on it.

Definitely want to see Cinderella. Those based on fairy tales are especially interesting to me. Plus, I like that scene where the birds and mice make the dress. If you don't have that same Disney Christmas special on TV as we get every year in Denmark, then it's kind of hard to explain. But I've basically seen that scene almost every year for 30+ years, but never seen the full movie.

I like the look of old Disney movies a lot. The music too. Maybe I can squeeze a few in during December.

Seems like the worst idea ever. Part of me wants to say that. Just doesn't seem right to not have it be animated. The only re-imagining I'd like to see would be with stop motion puppets.

Bro, Cinderella is the ****. The evil stepmother is definitely one of the best Disney villains ever. I hate to invoke the word "classic" like Chula, but there's a reason it's considered one, and it's rightfully a classic even today. If you don't love Cinderella the character and want the best for her then you're a dead soul.

Definitely want to see it. And I'm a sappy fool who gets something in his eye quite easily when watching movies. I'll probably be ready to jump in to the TV and fight for Cinderella's honor within the first 5 minutes.

Plus I want to just say that I have seen Maleficent and that I thought it was pretty good. Mostly good visual design, some appealing characters and a few surprising story turns. Much better than I dared hope it would be (I had pretty low expectations).

Honestly the only thing that turned me off of seeing Maleficent was Angelina Jolie, cause of course that should be awful, but if Frown of all people can rec it then I guess Angelina can't have actually ruined it. So sign me up?

But seriously you really should watch Sleeping Beauty. My negative review was really for people who've already seen the movie, which I assumed would be everybody, and therefore it would be a curio, but I'd never try to turn anyone from seeing it. It's a damn good Disney movie that all should see, just not a brilliant Disney movie that all should worship.

Spoiler for God damn!:
Such a unique and original approach to the subject matter. Having shared space with the same person for the last 35+ years, it obviously hit home and had me blubbering a lot. C had the choice early on to step into the light, but he took a left turn and suffered like **** for decades (centuries?) because of it. Love, love, love that he was finally released at the end by what she wrote, yet we weren't given privy to the words.

My highest recommendation. Not an easy ride though. Love movies that go for the slow burn instead of the every 5 second BAM BAM approach. The scene early on with M in the kitchen with the neighbors meal gift was ****ing priceless.

Moviemakers, please do this more often.

Such a great movie. Thanks for the heads up.

The most that happens in that entire film is Rooney Mara eating a whole pie in seven minutes.

That said... I still liked it.
