Nah, it's the Vanilla Ice of dialogues. Wants to be cool so desperately and the desperation is really showing.

Yeah, it gave us a wave of lameish gangster films trying to be funny and cool by contrasting violent situations with dialogue about mundane stuff.

Tarantino basically indirectly gave us stuff like Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Lucky Number Slevin and Snatch. I don't think I'd miss them if they hadn't happened.
