Saw “The Lighthouse” by Robert Eggers and would call it one of the 5-10 greatest film experiences I’ve ever had. Very profound recommendation to nearly anyone here

I do think some of joking about peoples issues here goes a little too far, and I certainly wouldn't say that I took delight in Elph's misery, but some of those posts of his were just funny. Sometimes tragic things happen to be funny at the same time, and I don't think seeing the humour of it takes away much of the empathy. At least I don't feel that it does, but it's hard to say when it goes too far. I generally like dark jokes. Humour is a coping mechanism.
