What's The Latest Film You Have Seen?

One of my all time favourite movies, if you have any interest in watching a truly original movie with a stellar cast and set design then I highly recommend this.

I much prefer Delicatessen from the same directing team but it's still a great movie.

I haven't seen The city of lost children, but it does look very interesting. I had high expectations for Delicatessen but ultimately didn't think it was particularly interesting. I'm not sure why, it's very atmospheric but I think the story is a little thin...maybe...:\

Righteous Kill - Robert DeNiro ad Al Pachino, good movie, but then again what movie isnt good that those two are in, hahah, some of my friends thought it dragged on a bit too long, I enjoyed it though.

not cool. I can see why somebody might not like it right but this is (and if not it ought to be) the model for all revenge thrillers hence. it's just... watch it again! And don't try and write a scathing review because it will be wrong

I wasn't intending to, I don't think there's anything particularly wrong with it, I just wasn't very involved. Maybe the genre as a whole doesn't appeal to me. I also had trouble understanding who was who and who did what...which may just be down to my stupidity. Either way, I doubt a second viewing would change my opinion....:\ Love Caine though!

Oh and as far as revenge thrillers are concerned, Oldboy trumps all...:|

yeah... i am overly defensive of anything grim set in 60's Britain really, and Caine is playing a bit of a cold-hearted creep in that, I just like the realism of it (compared to say Kill Bill etc), the seedy underbelly of scumbags he has to hack through to get a simple answer. No I'm not going to say closure

Old Boy is spot on as well, the one-take fist-fight in that is up there with anything Mike Hodges could offer
