I had the exact same reaction. The last Guy Ritchie movie that had come out that I had liked was Snatch, which was back in 2000 if I remember correctly.

I didn't like Snatch at initial viewing, partially because the accents were WAY heavy, but after the 2nd time around (with subtitles), I loved it. What do you think about Ritchie's Revolver?

Oh god that was such a mediocre piece of... not quite excrement but not that much higher than that. It hadn't come out in North America yet, but I was live in Wales at the time and found it at an HMV and watched it and was just... yeah, I gave it to a friend of mine as a Christmas gift... which he quickly regifted

I thought Revolver was way too pretentious and way to confusing and muddled. He tried to throw too much into that movie and not in the good deep way, but in the wtf is going on.

Haha, yeah. I've mixed feelings about it. I think he had a good idea, but ended up making it a jumbled, confusing plot.

Couldn't agree more. Awful film. Dunno what Wilksinson and Kebbell were thinking when they agreed to play in it.

I loved Revolver......even though I was confused the first time I watched it. It made watching it numerous times that much more enjoyable. I liked the theme of the movie that's why once I finally figured out what was going on.

There are so many other movies I could have gone and seen in its place but I can't say it left me completely dissatisfied . It has about the same pace and feel as the Da Vinci Code; very hard to sit through and the storyline was even more far fetched than before.. but still fairly interesting. 5/10
