im just impressed with the pacing in the films. In the first hour of Road Warrior they're is maybe 2 lines of dialogue.
Its funner watching these action films when you know all the stunts had to have been done by somebody, no cgi or anything

Paragraph 175- I rarely watch documentaries because they usually make me depressed for the next day or two and this was no exception. It was about homosexuality, a mainly overlooked story, during Hitler's regime for those who might want to watch it.

i dont know what you were smoking while watching this lee, in fact, im highly doubt full you even did watch it!

I was sooo boner'd up for this film-yes ill get to see how MAD, max would become....but he ****ign doesnt!

they should have called the goddamn movie something better suited, like, iunno, "General normal somewhat clueless as to where to be but will come through barely after losing a baby Max"

thats the problem, hes not crazy at all. he's wearing ****ing cackies and button up shirts while eating mango on his outdoor patio? In fact the only person who seems to be actually MAD is his retarded wife.

Talk about the worst parent on screen ever-how the **** do you leave your baby on the beach, but remember to get your dog(its a whole different dog then the sequel to-wtf?) She also leaves the baby in the trunk of a car during a high speed chase with insane clown posse fans on motorcycles?

And talk about the weakest transition to a sequel ever. Where the **** is the nuclear explosion, in fact, how the **** did the world change that fast, max would have to be about 100 years old in the sequel...

And whats with the jazz music oddly cutting in at random times? I can understand it during a smex scene, but when somebodys hand has just been ripped off?

Why did he have to use Max the character in "Road Warrior", why didn't he just start off fresh with "Mad Clive" or "Mad Henry", something that woulda made sense...

A funny and charming little Israeli comedy/drama, definitely one of the better films I've seen this year.

A BITTERSWEET LIFE

I have heard a few things about this film over the last couple of years, so as I saw it in a sale I thought why not?

A Korean film that is primarily a revenge thriller. As is quite common with a lot of Asian films, the opening 45 mins are deliberately slow paced but I still didn't get a feel for the characters and their motivations. What follows is at times a highly stylised (there are some great cameras shots and P.O.V shots), but predictable revenge thriller, replete with some questionable plot contrivances. The tone is jarring too. There are a couple of set pieces that are jet black comedy and this didnt sit with me too well. The ending marched on until it's obvious conclusion and I was not overly impressed, although I was mildly entertained. Then came the money shot. A forty second sequence that closes the film, echoing an earlier shot in the film that completely flipped my opinion of the film. The film then takes on a whole new meaning and inconcistencys suddenly shred their skin to reveal a completely different meaning.

It's not the greatest film. Nowhere close.However I am still utterly beguiled by film's ability to change your whole opinion on single shots or short sequences.

P.S This film was reviewed without divulging any plot points whatsoever

i actually saw the movie "snatch" a while ago
it was actually pretty good
the subtitles were definetely helpful, couldnt understand a damn thing they were saying otherwise
it kind of reminded me of a cooler version of the oceans movie with the setup & everything

subtitles? WTF? The film is in English? I know Pitt's Character talked a load of old bollocks but that's normal. SUBTITLES? I genuinely weep for the future of mankind.
