 Another Cusack movie I'd never seen before; for a romance it wasn't too bad; it captured, at least atmospherically, that short-lived purity which some people seem to have when they're young and inexperienced in romance yet vanishes as the reality of a relationship sinks in. My only beef? The whole Dad subplot was kinda meh and lacking in the tension department.
