What's The Latest Film You Have Seen?

I really liked it, though Ayouch didn't impress me much in his other movie, Whatever Lola wants, that one was a good surprise. Very much influenced by De Sica's work with non professional children actors, and more specifically his film Sciuscia. A film that follows the life of the glue-sniffing kids working in the streets. It isn't as tragic as the Italian Neo-Realist predecessor's works, as this one has a hint more of innocent poetry.

I don't think I can say it's a "great" movie that marked me deeply, still it is very solid film.

Btw, did I tell you I watched Agora? Anyhow, it's totally forgettable, just in case I didn't. Be prepared.

Jean Renoir's the Rules Of the Game here. Basically, if you thought it was impossible for pre-war mainland European cinema to be as witty and funny as thought-provoking and emotional, think again. Absolutely delightful film this, and one that could possibly have worked its way onto my favourites list.

don't know what happened to Amenabar... I just don't want to watch it, so I wouldn't get disappointed.

Not a film technically speaking, but...

The definitive dramatisation of the shit end of the stick in Thatcherite Britain. Absolutely top-drawer stuff featuring Bernard 'Theoden' Hill.

I watched 11:14 last night, I enjoyed it. Kept me focused the whole time.

I watched the Breakfast Club and Ferris Buellers Day Off because I hadn't ever bothered with them and someone said I needed to watch them, they were alright.

Really heart warming, most enjoyable. And I really fancy Scarlett.
