Up In the Air

George Clooney works for an agency that is hired by other businesses to fire their employees. Clooney is a loner and spends like 300 days a year traveling (or something like that).

Good movie. It's by the producers of Juno. Has it's funny moments. But it's really like one of those movies that you see once and that's enough.

Directed by Fred Durst. Not quite as equal of a gift to society as Limp Bizkit, but a good movie nonetheless.

For cereals though, a really good film. Don't just discredit it because Durst directed...

Both good looks into the world of metal, however both are missing vital pieces of information that I'm going to blame on time constraints than ignorance or an impartial viewpoint. Sam Dunn has even gone on the record saying if he could do six hours worth of material he would, and even then you would only be able to scratch the surface of metal as a whole. If you're curious about learning more about metal these are good starting points, but if you're looking for something with more of an "umph" then you're better off looking for other documentaries.

In Metal: A Headbanger's Journey the scene with Gaahl from Gogoroth is hilarious.

Requiem for a Dream

first time i've ever watched this. from the second i pressed play, i knew i was in for something that wasn't going to be the smoothest ride. in short, it was powerful and something eye opening and intense. the very last scene with the mom and the game show brought tears to my eyes. not for everyone, but something everyone should see. damn good movie.

It weirdly reminded me of a 1968 movie entitled Candy (not the one with Heathledger) -Which was a kind of adaptation of the book by Voltaire, Candide. It's this stranger to reality, entrapped in this childish naivety, adventuring into the land. Just twistedly beautiful.
