Exactly how I felt about it. Good, not great.

Well, I dunno how I felt about this one. It had it's plus points, well acted but the believability of it sometimes strayed, but overall it was a decent film. The techniques Scorsese uses when making films is great, the shots he gets, he manages to do things other directors can't. 7/10 for Cape Fear.

Generous 7/10 there.

It's Martin Scorsese! I can't dislike anything he does, he's just a visionary, a master at what he does. Even though this didn't really work, if you've seen it - it contains things that are a bit bizarre/cliché, I didn't really like it, but it was okay, the only thing that was wrong was it was the believability..

It was probably a 6/10 which is slightly better than meh/average, but in terms of film making and the shots Scorsese used was great, Hitchcockian techniques.

I tend to only watch films I think I'm going to enjoy, usually if it's above 60% on RT or a nice enough score on Metacritic I'll give it a watch.

I've never really disliked one, I've seen 12 of 21.. I just love the man. But in hindsight I don't think I enjoyed Cape Fear much, even though I didn't dislike it..

I disliked it because of the lack of believability and cliché, so I enjoyed it whilst I was watching. It had entertainment value, but after I'd finished watching it I re evaluated my opinion. So not a total dislike, more indifference..

It was still entertaining so it wasn't a waste of time, just the believability factor let it down.
