I actually feel the reverse about those two. I liked Hot Fuzz but I thought it kind of went downhill and stopped being funny in the last third of the movie.

I thought that was good, it also had a bit of drama and mystery to it, even though it was a parody type film it had me on the edge of my seat, Shaun of the Dead did as well but not as much as Hot Fuzz. Hot Fuzz had everything, I loved that film when it first came out. I really need to rewatch it.

I was bored after the first two minutes, which is too bad because I had really high hopes...

It's impossible not to fall for Kate Winslet in this movie. Not that it's all that difficult in the first place! Wonderful English rose that lady.

I completely agree, I love Kate Winslet. She's fantastic in most of her roles. And the character of Clementine in ESotSM is really quirky but tumultuous, I love her.

Same I love how he had like a decent explanation for all the killings and then it just turned out to be petty things like bad acting and a horrible laugh.

I love Kate Winslet, but I really couldn't stand Eternal Sunshine. Good acting, and she had chemistry with Jim Carrey, but hated the movie.
