Finally saw Pulp Fiction for the first time, and it was not what I was expecting at all. Great film, even though the rape scene really disturbed me.

Flat jokes? Predictable? Really?! I think it's great, 7 or 7.5/10 I think is what I'd rate it. I do agree that most of the acting sucks, though.

American Psycho. Not quite as good as I thought, but still really good, 8/10.

Saw it in entirety for the first time. One of my new favourites, 10/10.

I can't say I agree about the acting, I though the tone of the acting was exactly right for the movie. I will agree that the first time I watched it I wasn't really blown away. But then a funny thing happened: I kept having the urge to watch it again and the more I watched it the more I liked it.

How good did you think it'd be?! 8/10 is still a pretty good rating.

I enjoyed The Wrestler as well, but 10/10? Not for me. I never understood the hype around it, although don't get me wrong it's still a very impressive film. I love Darren Aronofsky but I don't think it's his best film.

I definitely agree it's not Aronofsky's best. I did like a lot though.

Best Aronofsky film for you? I'd say Requiem.

Hard to say. Probably Pi, but really like all of his movies a lot.

Das Weisse Band had a rerun at a local cinema so me and a friend saw it.
