I just watched that too and have been telling everyone about it! Easily among the best I've viewed this summer...

The Passion of Anna (1969) - Ingmar BERGMAN

^ A movie that just hit me as the film version of Sartre's No Exit (original title Huis Clos), and his famous saying "Hell is other people" ("l'enfer, c'est les autres"). Great character driven movie, with a very witty insert of small interviews made with the actors playing the main roles. Another way to show the schism created in each character. Which is in a way the plot that runs the movie (which is obvious from the poster in a way).

I enjoyed The Wrestler as well, but 10/10? Not for me. I never understood the hype around it, although don't get me wrong it's still a very impressive film. I love Darren Aronofsky but I don't think it's his best film.
I thought it would be 10/10, and one of my new favourite films because of the hype. Don't get me wrong it was awesome, but I thought it would be amazing.

And The Wrestler gets a 10/10 simply because it's pretty much the only movie I've seen in the last 4 or 5 years that made me cry.

Despite the odd plot-hole, a pretty decent spook story. Nothing truly amazing though.
