I wanted Forgetting Sarah Marshall/Superbad/Hangover, a few laughs but nothing particularly memorable or interesting... Due Date was horrible, it looked quite bad from the trailer but I was on my man-period and wanted something easy going. I turned it off and put on Dead Ringers, best decision ever.
Hmm, I guessing you hated Hot Tub Time Machine as well?

It looks like something I'd hate, so no.
I like fun films, if they're made reasonably well. They don't have to be perfect, but some of these comedy films like Due Date are just horrible.
(Sorry to bash the film you quite enjoyed, but it's one of the worst films I've ever seen.)

Fun films: The Hangover, Superbad, Scott Pilgrim, 500 Days of Summer (for the most part), Adventureland.

I like them for what they are, but I just don't get how Due Date can appeal to someone. What did you like about it?

It looked funny, from my trailer-test. Maybe I'm just mainstream.

Dude, all those films you named are probably some of my favourites. Superbad is definitely one of my favourites, kind of tied with Clerks II.

I honestly don't know what's there not to like about Due Date though :S Robert Downey Jr. is just amazing in it, and dude, that masturbating scene was fucking hilarious, and so much other stuff that I wouldn't want to divulge so as to not spoil it. It's extremely funny dude. Maybe you had an off day.

Fucking hell, I haven't even seen Due Date yet.
I got it confused with Date Night.
It's been a long night, I've been on the beer and they're both probably a bit shitty but I have no opinion on Due Date - though I expect myself not to enjoy it (despite RDJ being in it, such a charismatic character), but we'll see. I feel them kind of fun films lack a bit of purpose, but are still really fun and they're extremely entertaining. Add Kick-Ass to the list. Another fun film.

No wonder you don't like Date Night. It's as American a movie as you can get.

I've watched enough American films to understand the culture and your ways, even if I can't relate - it was just horrible.
Horrible acting, predictable direction (all the shots were just so obvious), horrible dialogue and most of all - horrible plot. Just, urgh.
I even found I Love You, Man kind of fun.

About what?
The picture failed, so I just read the link...
D..ate Night
D..ue Date

Generic popcorn flick names. I don't even know if I'll bother with Due Date.

Zack Gallafanakis (not even attempting to spell his name correctly) is a comedy hero of mine and it seems we share practically the same sense of humor. So I'll probably at least download Due Date.
