I think this could have been so much better, but it was so sappy. Alwell, it was still pretty good...

Primal Fear

really enjoyed this film, great legal drama full of twists until the end. My favorite characters were definitely Edward Norton and Richard Gere, who played off of each other so well.

Funny enough I just noticed that I'm watching it on the 20 year anniversary of it's original release.

The Fighter

it was a solid film. my favorite sequences all included bale, who stole the show. I feel like they can never get the ending right for movies like this(inspirational), most of them come off as artificial.

also, the fighting scenes were boring and cliche(protagonist gets knocked down, then completes miraculous comeback). the final one seems to drag on for hours.

if this manages to win best picture the academy will lose all of their street cred with me.

Helen Mirren's sexy ass is the only reason I wanted to watch this.

Helen Mirren + weapon proficiency = pure sex

I also attempted to watch the sex and the city move but that was a waste of time. I got about 20 mins into it before I decided that is was horrible.

oh yes besides Helen Mirren, she made the movie for me it's very good though if you are in the mood for an action movie that doesn't take itself too seriously.

John Malkovich was the the funniest one out of the whole crew though. I loved every scene he was in also. Morgan Freeman had a few good one liners as well but John out-shined him.
