It has been siting in my `to watch' pile for a while and it has a little cult reputation. Why? I was bored throughout. How Luc Besson could put his name to this is anyone's guess.



If I'd have seen this in my youth I may have held some nostalgic reverence for it. However I have never seen it and never want to again. It has not aged well at all. Bad day for films today.

Shot well, admirable gore, but the misuse of the talents of Madsen and Vinnie Jones makes me want to cry. The main cast (especially the blonde) are just awful save for Rider Strong who is doing what he's always done (feigning emotion by adding a stressful inflection to his voice). Why have the two biggest names in the film (Madsen and Jones) relegated to sidekicks of complete nobodies?! This, plus god awful writing and laughable plot, makes this yet another bad film in the tradition of shiit that the 8 Films to Die For is famous for. 4 out of 10

See, now that's a good example of a fun action flick. Not Shoot 'em up...

Badly paced, bad stunts, incorrect subtitles and unimaginative cinematography. I really wanted to like it too.
