Sweet Sixteen 7/10

Dim social realism film that leaves the audience in a dark place, it's hard to understand the dialogue of the actors because of their broad Scottish accents. This is England is more watchable.

that's why it's good to type out the title of the movies even if you post the image

Yeah, there was plenty of that "by the numbers" stuff in there, which is precisely why I thought it was so mediocre and unimaginative. Whatever you may think of Tarantino, he never just copy-pastes, but rather uses the old to create something new and fresh. :\

How much did Tarantino have to do with it though? I'm genuiely curious. I only remember it saying Tarantino presents....I didn't think he was listed as the director or w/e.

Also, Robert Rodriguez was the one attached to Planet Terror

Tarantino was more connected to Death Proof.

In Death Proof, there was foot fetish scenes, long boring dialogue scenes and a few other things that you can tell Tarantino had his hands over that movie.

I was comparing Planet Terror with Tarantino's Death Proof, which I find vastly superior...

Also, I really don't understand how anyone can find Tarantino's dialoges "boring".

Oh yes, when I first saw Death Proof in theaters. I was like meh, Planet Terror owned it in so many ways but when I re-watch them both. Immediately upon the second viewing, I appreciated Death Proof more and tend to side with it.

the second half? you mean with the awesome car chase scene?

There is a little bit of a lull thanks to Tarantino liking to have long dialogue scenes but when it gets back to the driving is the best part of the movie so i have to disagree with you on that one. the second half is the best part of it.
