It’s one of the few “classic” horror movies that don’t really work for me. People say you had to be there or whatever but why is that not the case with so many other classics like Halloween, Evil Dead, The Thing, The Shining, TCM, yada yada. The Exorcist is just too long and bloated, drags out like crazy. There’s obviously some good stuff in it and any horror fan should see it but yeah to me it’s pretty bleh

The dream sequences and atmosphere are pretty dope, but it only has its reputation for being released in a Christian-dominant society that gave it more power and connotations of "trve evil" for a lot of its audience.

I did get a pretty good laugh when the little girl told the priest "Shove it up your ass, you ***got!" sounding like an old man with a tracheotomy yelling at a teenager with long hair.

Finally got to check out Uncut Gems. Man, what a film. Such a fun nonstop ride. It's crazy what Adam Sandler can do when he actually gives a **** about the project and tries. He was absolutely phenomenal
