Anyway, it's funny how so many comedians suffer from depression.
It is, but it also makes a lot of sense. Humour is a coping mechanism

The Great St. Louis Bank Robbery (1959)

An early film role for a young Steve McQueen. I thought it was a bit too slow for my taste, in building up to the robbery, but still a worthwhile viewing overall.

The praise this is getting is totally warranted. It's a f*cking piece of art. What starts out as a normal comedy special made inside one room with one person slowly turns into something utterly profound. It's beautifully honest and expressive and the music SLAPS. I didn't know I even liked this kind of music but it's incredible and you should all watch it. The dude made my favorite film of the year.
An 11/10 ultra masterpiece, one of my favorite things ever created by a human

Jaws is one of my absolute favorite movies to just throw on when I'm boozed but I never watched it in the last year and yet it's the entirety of last year. The mayor is giving me serious desires to grab hold of a machete thinking of Trump.

Btw I called Spielberg my fav director in a six pack without really bothering to think about it but there's no other director who has three movies I'll throw on and be obsessed with no matter what my mood is and no matter what on earth is going on I will be down to geek out over Jaws, Saving Private Ryan, and Jurassic Park. And my childhood obsession over Jurassic Park will never be over. So yeah Stephen Spielburg is god.

Alright wut. I searched "Jaws" in Spotify to see if I could find a good podcast talking about the movie and I found some dudes DnD roleplaying the movie and some guy is rolling dexterity to see if he can take off his shirt to go skinny dipping.

In the 90s I could never have expected this starting up AOL and Netscape Navigator.
