I really liked some of those Jean-Pierre Melville movies, Alain Delon was/is one cool cucumber.

I don't think I've seen Blind chance but I've seen everything else by Kieslowski after it, the Dekalog being my favorite.

Nice, I recently added Riot to my watch list, looks gritty. A Brighter Summer Day is a hell of a cop too, we're lucky to have the criterion edition instead of the low res laser disc that was around before then. One of my faves.

While waiting for the kids to come home from school, I watched the Danbury Trashers story on Untold: Crimes and Penalties (Netflix).

I laughed my ass off.

Everything everywhere all at once (2022)

A lot of thoughts about this one but essentially, I found it mildly entertaining, occasionally emotional although also shmaltzy and a kind of free-for-all meandering mess. The Wachowski's could probably sue for copyright infringement for some elements which may or may not be on purpose.

It's probably a much better movie in an alternate universe.
