The control system is hard to get used to originally though... So many different ways to take out the last boss, very few 'useless' skill sets, and picking three means if one if, there are still others to focus on...

Aw come on man. The writing isn't that poor.

Have you played a generic Japanese RPG ever?

I think the radio commentary is pretty good, and i especially love the Ghouls.

I'm looking at the game with fresh eyes, not in comparison to the other games. Maybe thats why your enjoying it less.

Yes, the writing is bad in comparison to the originals... Of course, its no where near as bad as oblivion

I have played plenty of JRPGs

Who said I am enjoying it less?

Its just not as good as the originals, and when its called FALLOUT 3 it should be compared to the original fallouts.

Its a good game and I am enjoying it, don't know where I said I wasn't enjoying it...

Oh, i dunno, i guess i assumed that somehow.

Are you being good or evil?

This game is pretty challenging. I wish exploring was made easier. Super mutants are cool and all, but i'd like to walk somewhere without being shot and and bit in the ass by mole rats and robots.

Just going with the flow atm.... Mainly good, haven't done anything bad yet like

SPOILER

Blow up Megaton... Nothing like that... But I haven't played a lot yet, taking my time, taken like 4.5 hours so far and I haven't done much (About to head to Galaxy radio Station) so yeah...

I'm getting it today, and to all of you who say that Fallout 1 and 2 were not hard, piss off. Fallout 2 was one of the hardest games ever.

As I said, it depends on what approach you take...

Or maybe its because I played through it over 12 times

i'm really liking the game so far but i think you can get gear way too fast. i just picked up a rocket launcher and a pair of missiles and i haven't even hit level 4 yet.

Yeah but you will be hard-pressed to find ammo for it

Sort of making you think about it I guess...

that totally depends on the person.

I didn't get the sniper rifle until after i beat the game and reloaded my file.

Plus, you can't even use power armor until you get training.

I gotta say, ive been exploring around. Besides the occasional cool spot (the oasis in particular) they're isn't actually that much to see.
