For the sake of your health and welfare, do not touch Civ V. I don't want to admit how much time I've sunk into it over the years.

It's crack for nerds.

Xenoblade X, which is way better than IGN gives it credit for.

Still ploughing my way through Witcher 3, seems like I've been playing it for ages now and I'm still near the beginning of the game.

Completed Resident Evil Revelations 2 and I was kind of surprised at just how good it was, as I wasn't a fan of Revelations 1.

Next week starting The Batlord's rec Alien

I fully expect some anecdotes about moments that made you shit yourself.

Well Revelations 2 on survival level had me crapping a lot of the time, where like any great Resident Evil game has you totally concerned with trying to conserve you ammunition.

I've never actually played any of the "scary" RE games, but I can't imagine that they could give me the wide-eyed terror and stress of Alien: Isolation. That game makes me feel my heart pounding in my own chest.

Playing the **** out of Starcraft 2 right now. The Terran campaign is awesome (got Heart of the Swarm queued up for when I finish Terran). Varied and creative missions keep me on my toes while organically introducing me to new units. And the cinematic before my current mission (Whispers of Doom) is one of the absolute coolest god damn cut scenes I've ever seen. A sci-fi epic and awesome RTS combined. I'm terrified to do multiplayer, though. That **** sounds ****ing intense.

If anyone here plays Starcraft then I'd be down for some multiplayer, just so I wouldn't have to be pwned by some total strangers.

Tomb Raider : Legend

This is obviously a PS2/XB/GC -era game and thus sort of painful to play on 360.

Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition (PS4)

A beautifully crafted and intelligent roleplaying game. Feels a little like the classic Baldur's Gate, with Advanced Dungeons & Dragons-like rules, and the wit and humour of Terry Pratchett's Discword novels.

Looks good. Sounds fab. Plays even better. My only criticism is the width and breadth of things to do and ways to do them is overwhelming, especially for a longtime console gamer like myself not used to the depth and complexity of PC roleplaying games.

Not very far into the game yet but am already drawn in and enjoying it. Can see myself playing this for many months.
