Where/How did you see Synecdoche? It's been in select cites for a while and I just have no theaters around me that play good movies. I'll have to wait for it to come out on DVD.
I go to Savannah College of Art and Design and every October there is a huge film festival that plays a lot of art films. That's how I saw both Slumdog and Synecdoche, New York. It was pretty cool because I got to meet Danny Boyle.

That's awesome! Danny Boyle seems like such a respectable guy. Did you get to talk to him at all? Or was it just a shake his hand type thing?

Well he had a Q&A and then me and a few friends went up and talked to him. I told him I wanted to be a film director and he was telling me how it's the best job in the world and wished me luck. He was very nice.

I tend to watch movies like a year after they come out, so I've yet to see many of the big titles from this year.

However, I did see Dark Knight and that was Awesome!

Pineapple Express didn't really do anything for me. I just don't like Seth Rogen at all. I think he's a great writer but I just hate his acting.

He plays the same character in every film but to be honest it doesn't really bother me. It's all about Saul for me, what a dude.

Surprisingly enough, PE is not very rewarding if you watch it high...:\

I watched it high but that was on the third time and it gets better and better the more you watch it, for me at least.

Many films mentioned here are only just making it onto our cinema screens and I dont acquire films illegally personally so not much floated my boat last year.

However 'Wanted' was damn brilliant, stupid, crazy fun.
