I like the wiimote, it may not be "real" motion sensing as some tech nerd PS3 fanboys like to point out, but Nintendo at least know how to make great use of it even if for third party developers it's more challenging.

Galaxy, Twilight Princess and Okami all make great use of it.

No, the wiimote actually freaking works.

For more info on the power glove, watch this educational video.

Wii Motion Plus is coming soon, and with it One-to-One control. It's just like a little chip that you plug in the black of the remote. So that'll shut those PS3 fanboys up! well, probably not... they are fanboys afterall.

Lol, I had forgotten just how terrible the Power Glove is. I just seem to get tired of the Wii Controls after a while, which is something that isn't an issue with other consoles.

Props to Nintendo for some great games though. Perhaps the 1-to-1 controls will change things for me.

If you want to be serious about sticking to a routine, yes. If you want to get it to mess around w/ some mini games, get it used.

I'm as serious about a routine as anyone who says they are but usually get bored after a while, if you know what i mean. I'm hoping the novelty of it being a (very expensive) videogame would be enough of an incentive.

I don't play Wii Fit at all... but my mom and little sister do.

So yeah, anyways, I got a PS3 now so I use my Wii less (haven't played it since I got the Trey on Saturday), but there are definitely some upcoming games that I will keep my eyes on, them being Red Steel 2, Metroid Other M, the new Mario Games, Cursed Mountain, Monster Hunter 3. The Conduit is coming out on the 23rd and I'll be picking that one up as well.

Wii is only good for exercise if you make it.

It doesn't require you to stand up and jump around and move your arms like a raging retard, a simple flick of a wrist will do, but it's a good thing that no one but the most hardcore gamers (aka laziest people on the planet) have caught on to that fact.

So for the old people who still jump around like jackasses when playing the Wii, I just don't have the heart to tell them that REAL gamers just flick it around while sitting on their lazy boy eating cheetos.

Hmm. That's something I need to bring up on my things about games that piss me off thread.

The so called real gamers, what a bunch of c*nts.
