Seems like the job market there, is just as bad as the situation here.

At least where I live (Hampton Roads, Virginia), we've got sort of a buffer from the real world, since we've got the world's biggest naval base propping up our economy, but yeah, it's not fun.

The UK is pretty bad but a lot better than southern Europe, where countries like Spain and Greece have unemployment levels higher than 20%.

If you're unemployed, you'll have plenty of time to absorb yourself with Diablo 3

Wait, why can't you find a job in Norfolk? That place should be doing fine. Also, VA's jobless rate is pretty low.

Good luck buddy, I scored a new one yesterday (starting on Monday) after being on the dole for the last few months. Only reason I had Diablo on Tuesday is because I pre-ordered and paid it in full before my last job ended.

-----

As for the game itself, having 10 slots for characters is enough to get 2 variants of each class so I don't get why so many people seem hung up on just running a particular character exclusively (I have a few friends who refuse to make alts). I started a Demon Hunter yesterday and I figure today I'll either try the Wizard or Witch Doctor, I'll save a Barbarian as my final class since I'm already quite familiar with what to expect from it.

Also... late last night, my friends and I are running in a group, battle our way through hordes of zombies and ghouls to finally get to Leoric's manor, which is apparently the final area of act 1 and then we all get this pop up in our chat:

SERVER: The game will be going down for maintenance in 5 minutes.

I thought that, but Demon Hunters and Monks seem to be 1 in 3.

An official poll on Battle.net indicated that right before release, a large majority of players were rolling Barbarian, and that Witch Doctor was the least popular.

Also, beat the game last night (on normal). The developers were saying that the fourth and final difficulty, Inferno, is insanely-omg-what-the-****-DIFFICULT and that no one on the dev team had been able to beat it prior to release. That being said, I give those crazy Asians a month TOPS to beat Inferno, and then another two months to beat Inferno Hardcore.
