I'm not that up on Zizek at all but I'm absolutely sure he would call himself a socialist.

Yeah and my memory of your takes doesn't make me think your worldview jibes with his much and non-socialists tend not to appreciate the views of socialists even in the sense of taking in a wide view of ideas.
