And Half Life 2 was released after the first Halo so how the **** can it be the first good FPS you played?

Sucks for you. Playing Halo 1 when it came out on XBox in 2001 (Half Life 2 was 2004) was one of our generation's gaming focal points.

Oh I did enjoy it a lot but I just wasn't part of the hype unforunately. I know I missed out.
