TBH I think the original Tomb Raider might be one of the most influential games of all time considering how it pulled back on pure game mechanics to deliver multiple mechanics to create a game that was a sort of jack-of-all-trades in a way that so many modern games are to some extent even if they share little in common gameplay-wise. Possibly the missing link between old school and modern gaming.

Really sad that Bungie couldn't make more Oni games. Not sure if it was because of the acquisition by Microsoft or maybe the sales of the game were not high enough.

Ever played Uncharted GreyZone? Definitely a modern series that’s excellent and obviously heavy inspiration from Tomb Raider

Hey.

Yes I would like to play Uncharted, I have heard good things about it. But unfortunately I don't have a Playstation, I only have a PC and an Xbox 360.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

I played the heck out of Mario Sunshine on that. I grabbed it for me and the mini-me to play Mario Kart, but that game came in a bundle so it was like "Can I play now?" "Uh, hang on right after I finish this level... oh ****! Gotta start over now...".

Awww, Super Mario Sunshine was such an adorable game. And also really hard for some reason. I never could beat all of those crazy challenge stages.

Original Xbox with Toe Jam and Earl was another one we'd play. Then I got Amped and some cheat codes and you were able to use your own tunes. That rocked. I think the last new-at-the-time video game I played was Max Pain. It's been nothing but Destructo-Truck on-line since.

Half-Life was another one that sucked hours of life from me. I think I got one of the expansion packs for that too.

Really though I've had just about every gaming console from Pong on up to Xbox One, but the one's after the early 90's were for my kid. I just don't have the time to play these days, but I do miss a good cut scene and the satisfaction of repeating a level dozens of times and finally getting through it.
