Default Free YouTube Movies Worth Watching

Must say, they're getting better with their picks. So I thought I'd start a thread to herald some of the better ones. My tastes do err toward the classics. If you discover a good freebie of whatever stripe streaming there please share! Keep in mind that the window for most of these streamers is about a month - so don't wait too long to check out a favorite.

Tonight's pick (just added today) -

the manchurian candidate (1962, john frankenheimer)

An American POW in the Korean War is brainwashed as an unwitting assassin for an international Communist conspiracy.
Bizarre and prescient, American power politics on the big screen has seldom been this fun to watch. And everyone from Spike Lee to Ridley Scott has quoted from the frames of Frankenheimer's vision.

Is there a section that tells you how to find these free movies? I err towards the classics as well.

Yep. But I swear they don't list em all. Seem to always find the good ones by association (or accident).

O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000, Joel & Ethan Coen)

In the deep south during the 1930s, three escaped convicts search for hidden treasure while a relentless lawman pursues them.

One of my all time faves despite events wrapping up too neatly. Bonafide 21st Century classic in my book, though.

Yeah, been meaning to watch Sound City but the Muscle Shoals doc is a classic. I mean, Jesus, I’d LOVE to visit and record a session of anything just to say I experienced firsthand the magic that made those great Rolling Stone and Aretha Franklin records.

It's amazing how those 2 places were the datum points for rock and roll perfection.

the last detail (1973, hal ashby)

Two Navy lifers are ordered on a last detail before vacation, escorting a young recruit to jail for theft. One of Nicholson’s -and Ashby’s - best (imo) and a lot of ad-lib fun. Not an legal upload so check it out before it’s pulled.
