Oh absolutely. I've had a little criticism on some of them already, but any new insight is always good. Just, you know, if the criticism is too harsh, be sure to check under your car every morning...

I'll go trawl through them and see which are best to send first. Thanks a mill!

I'll have a go at short read too, if you'd like to send me a link. I mean, you've reviewed mostly all of my stuff, so it's just good manners for me to reciprocate. I feel I owe that to you at least. I've read some of your journals, but I don't think I've ever read any of your fiction.

Send a link in a PM when you get a chance.

Hey cool thanks man. What sort of stuff do you prefer? Like I say, it's fantasy, horror, science fiction/speculative fiction with the odd "normal" story.

The one you mentioned as being your best work.

Edit: The old woman waiting for death.

Okay well that's not the one I consider my best work, but I'll slide it your way anyhow. Hopefully you'll not hate it.

I wouldn't want to swamp you so let me know how many you want me to send. Some are very short (100 words or less) and some are very long (maybe up to 50,000 or thereabouts).

Thanks a mill! Also let me know if you want me to send via PM or email them to you (in the latter case I would need your email address duh) and what the best format is for you (most if not all are in OpenOffice format). I did collect them in an e-book but nobody seems to be able to open it for some reason (is God trying to tell me something? Oh no wait: he doesn't exist)...
I was just going by this. Throw your best at me.

Well, yeah, it came out well, which was a bit of a triumph for me as it has no "genre" content at all - no sci-fi, spec fic, horror or fantasy - and I don't generally write those sort of stories, so I was pleased with what I did get. As for my best? Hard to say - they're all ****e really. I'll scrape the gunk off one of the less terrible ones and send it your way. And maybe that one too, in case you're curious - I think it's about four pages or something. Quite short.

A bit of an update... I did read through Blurebird Down, and it was really good.

During the last couple of years, I've watched just about every documentary and movie about WWII and there were quite a few blank spots that needed to be filled in, so placing myself within the storyline was seamless thanks to all of that. The story paradoxically tugs gently at mortality and hopelessness. Good use of technical terms to sink the reader in further as you traverse the storyline as well. A fast and compelling read, actually.

I'm a terrible reviewer though, and lately putting thoughts to words/paper/screen has been a struggle, so I hope this small blurb will suffice for now. I've just been loaded up with a few design projects that will most likely take up any free time I have for a while, but I hope to get to The Yellow Windows of the Evening Train soon.

Thank you for taking the time to send me those, TH. It's been a pleasure, but I knew I'd be in for a treat going into this.

Hey that's cool man. Delighted you liked it, and thanks for the feedback. Always very important. Don't worry about the other one, no rush. Get to it when you can. I'd rather you read and enjoyed it (hopefully) at your own pace than felt oh damn I have to read this now, okay let's get it over with, style of thing.

Thanks again. Really means a lot!
