They now tell you what video made them recommend the one that they did.
Because I favourited an Alcest video, this band was recommended to me.
Have I fallen in love? It's too late to tell, it's 2 15 in the morning and I can't listen to the music too loudly.
Am I interested? Most definitely.
Since this is my last day at home for a few months, I downloaded their self-titled album for the ride home. I'm definitely excited.
[[= Night everyone.
i just started listening to alcest. they have blown my mind so if this band is anything like them i will definitely give them a listen. this will happen as soon as i have access to some speakers/headphones...

Any other info on this band?
I can find out some more stuff ASAP.
I haven't had a chance yet, and it's late and I have school starting tomorrow!!
I fell asleep to this band, though, I really enjoy them.

I don't have the whole album, but how did you discover them?
I'm interested in knowing how people find bands.

Yeah I was introduced to Alcest and loved them, as soon as this was recommended, I jumped on the opportunity to listen.
I have to say, I'm a fan of more of the work by Alcest, but this band comes close for me.

I've only listened to the Amesoeurs record once and i liked it but it didnt have the same immediate impact that the Alcest record did. I should probably listen to it again. It's a shame that they split though because there was definite promise and potential there.

Im glad you're liking Alcest so much

That's how I felt with the Amesoeurs(I hate spelling that) album as well.
I like the album, but I wasn't amazed like I was with Alcest.
I think there was promise, and I would have followed them, too, continued buying their albums and such. Do you know why they broke up?

Hehe, you knew I loved them!

Im sure it was just cited as musical differences or whatever the usual reason is. I think they were disagreed on what to do with the next record.

I liked the varied but simple drum patterns in the Amesours song, which gave some variety throughout it. I'm curious what the singer is singing about.

I'll have to check out Alcest, now that I know you all like that group so much!

Definitely check Alcest out.
I'm sure you can find some translations somewhere.
I feel like I tried that.

Matt & Kim - Daylight

In my suite, I have the loudest speakers, so when we're all in our rooms, I'm the designated DJ.
This song is our, "Today's a really good day, let's celebrate" song.
Musically, it's not the most amazing.
Vocally, he's not the best.
Melody-wise, it's not overly complex.
But I love the song nonetheless. It's a feel good song, it makes all of us feel happy, and it's a great song to blast when we're all done with classes and feel like enjoying our time to ourselves.
Tell me what you think, or don't. [= Just thought I'd share a song that makes me happy.

Daylight! I discovered the song through the Bacardi commercial and I love it for pretty much the same reasons you said. There's nothing particularly great about the song, there really isn't. But I find myself listening to it a lot when I'm done with work and have some time off to kick back and relax.

Oh, and if you like Amesoeurs or Alcest, I would highly recommend Les Discret. It's members of Amesoeurs and it's fucking awesome.
