I had a PS2 but the majority of my post-90s gaming experience has been with OG XBox and the 360 so I love those controllers, even if the original is actually a bit too bulky. The 360 controller slimmed down though and at this point PS controllers now feel a tad too small and not as smooth. Also the DualShock joysticks never felt right, as opposed to the superior XBox sticks.

I'll give you that. The xbox 360 controller is pretty good. I know people still use it for PC gaming and honestly, I've contemplated getting one myself. Now if you wanna talk unnecessarily large Xbox controllers, look no further:

I agree and I definitely thought it was too big at the time but I got used to it.

I like the 360 controller way better than the Dualshock, except for one thing. The d-pad is totall ass on every single official Xbox controller Microsoft has done. That is, if you're going to play fighting games with it. The Dualshock has always been good at that, even way back on PS1.

Bought a 3rd party controller for my 360 to solve that problem.

Maybe that's why it's pulling teeth to try to pull off anything but the most basic moves in Injustice on 360.

Yeah I know the d pad sucks on xbox controller. Luckily I don't normally use the d pad so it just goes unused. I think double joysticks on a controller was one of the smartest design ideas. It's so fluid especially in FPS games and even Battle Royale games.

I'm just glad they got rid of that early dual stick thing where one stick would go forward and back while also being what turns you left or right, and the other stick looked up and down and strafed. That was the most awkward movement scheme ever and I never got used to it.

Oh yeah I remember that. I remember how frustrating that was too.

I want to say I first encountered it in that James Bond game Nightfire or whatever came after Goldeneye. Was the worst.
