It's gotten better in recent times. And state side cooking tends to be w lot better.

"So, would you like food, or should I just vomit onto some bread?"

Army food honestly isn't as bad as Hollywood says it is. But still, it's not five star dining, either. It's fill ya and get ya back to work food.

I don't really have anything to add today other than I convinced a guy to stick the tip of his tongue to a metal rack in the freezer. I told him (he's young and stupid) that he could just barely tip it a little and it wouldn't stick. It stuck like glue just like I knew it would. See when we get a fresh batch in, we have to mess with 'em a little bit.

We've been calling him "Private Freeze". Or just "Freeze". And he's been catching hell on Earth for his sheer ignorance? Stupidity?

That's a lesson for ya, kids. Don't ever listen to the Sergeant when he says "Don't worry, I've done it hundreds of times!"

Fall in turds and listen up! Sarge has got your daily report for ya right here!

Had a training exercise going on today in which we had some US Marshals on post in some civilian clothing in some clearly marked vehicles (they had orange reflective triangles on the cars) engaging in some "Suspicious Activity". Some were speeding, some were swerving, some were making unnecessary evasive maneuvers when they saw the MP cruiser come up behind them/around the curve/etc. The objectives were simple:
  • Identify the suspicious activity;
  • Radio dispatch to update them (and the Sergeants) of the situation;
  • Engage the suspect/investigate the suspicious activity;
  • React accordingly to the situation that is going to quickly go outta wack;
  • Apprehend the suspect and contain the situation.

Note: Everyone involved were using paintball guns

And when I say outta wack, that could mean anything. You could somebody over for simple swerving and they take off driving. Or for instance the poor bastards that rolled up on me personally I let them get up to the driver's side and opened fire on them with my paintball gun.

At the end of the exercise, we had four MPs that had this of been a live fire exercise would be dead or on the way. All four of them were rookies.

I personally got dispatched to a 10-10 at the Exchange (fight in progress) and a request for backup. I get there and these three women are fighting each other tooth and nail. It took SIX of us to separate these three women...all I have to say is thank God for cups! All three were charged with two counts Assault & Battery, one count Assault & Battery on a Police Officer, one count causing a public disturbance, and one count destruction of public property.

Had a great brigade run this morning, even had some of the 82nd boys running with us. It quickly turned into a cadence calling contest between us and them. Of course we won, but don't tell them that!

All right that's it! Fall out!

So did you shine your flashlight in their faces?

What... what on Earth did you use the cups for?
