A lot of people really loved this movie and a lot of people really
hated it. I think they might have been a little bit pessimistic.
Even if it's a little slow and some things aren't exactly perfect
it's still a really fantastic modern horror movie.

It's hard to talk about the basis of this movie without spoiling
the best parts of it but, I'll try my best to do so. If you're
the type of person that's just like go ahead! Spoil me! Here's a
what the story is about for the most part.

SPOILER OPEN AT YOUR OWN RISK
SPOILER OPEN AT YOUR OWN RISK
SPOILER OPEN AT YOUR OWN RISK

Spoiler for I warned you THREE TIMES ok?:

So there's this monster, entity, something and other that stalks
you after you have sex with someone. Basically it's like an evil
STD. Once you have sex with someone that has it they no longer
need to worry about it and it comes after the person you give it
to instead. I think this is a fantastic take on modern society

AIDS and other STDs are a real problem and a lot of people just
don't care. I hope this makes adolesent people think about it
more than they usually would have. It also does it in a really
interesting way. It's not like something that just kills you on
contact. It slowly creeps up on you. It's VERY SLOW much like a
disease would be. It always seems to take on the form of a person
it could be someone you know it could be someone you don't. Just
like how ANYONE could have an STD.

Alright if you didn't want to be spoiled then, let me talk about
how the movie was directed. It's kind of a hipster way to go
about things but, it really works for the movie considering it's
about the current generation of teenagers. It gives the movie a
certain little something that makes you feel like you're in a
modern setting. The kids are all basic teenage kids just doing
what kids do and living their lives. A lot of people say they
dislike the way it was shot but, it gave an atmosphere that was
really enjoyable.

The characters and the acting. It's really hard to make something
look like it's just an everyday type of thing and this movie
does that. You get drawn into this world that these kids live in.
They aren't anything special they're just everyday average people.
And I think it gives the film a certain kind of charm. The way
they just do things without thinking or hook up without reason.
There's no stupid melodrama.

The reason it's scary. It's a new idea. It really hasn't been
done before and the way it was done is super clever. There's a
tention you just can't shake the whole way through and you're
sitting there wondering what exactly is going to happen next.
And it's perfect for the current generation. It will make them
second guess a lot of things and question their choices in life.

It's not a perfect movie however. There are some parts that sort
of drag on. They can be a little boring but, the movie needs this
slow pace. There are some things that don't add up as well.
You might say here and there hey, that's not right or that's not possible.
If you can just bare with that you'll get a really great experience of of it.

Over all I gave It Follows a 8.5 out of 10. The ending is a little
obscure but, fitting to say the least. I went with a 10 point
system because I feel it's needed for something that is more than
just music. It's visuals, story, music, acting, etc.

It also has a great OST.

I know you like to use colours, but it's really hard on the eyes to read a whole review formated this way.

Says the guy with the flashing avatar. Lol I'll make it less light. I just like how it matched the color of the movie title.

Dust Devil. (1993) Rec'd by TrollHeart
-----------
I'll say something short about this.

First of all I love movies about witchcraft or anything of the
sort but, that's not the only basis of this movie it just makes
me like it even more. The cinematics are just outstanding. It's
visually pleasing. So many little details. It was shot so well.
The story itself will grab you and it won't let go for the whole
movie. Enticing. Mysterious. It grabs hold of your mind and twists
and turns it not letting go. The location really adds spice that
a lot of other horror movies lack. How often do you see something
set in South Africa? I really enjoyed this. So unique. I haven't
watched a movie this good in a while. A perfect combination of
psychological and horror. I might do a full review of it because,
I'm pretty sure it's getting my place for 1993.

PERFECT ENDING.

Thank you for showing me such an amazing movie.
