It actually got better as it moved along. I think you'll enjoy it.

James Luther Dickinson
Dixie Fried

Some nice country/blues rock with nice piano and clever lyrics.

Owen Gray
Fire and Bullets

Tired from last night. Gunna play some nice mellow sh*t today I think. We got this in recently. It's expensive as all hell for some reason but I don't think anybody even knows this album. One rating on RYM. It's nice.

Brian Eno
Music For Films

I don't think there's an artist I've listened to more over the last 365 days than Brian Eno. Still so much I have to eventually get to but it was nice to finally cross this off the list after it evading me for a long ass time. Really nice and atmospheric like it's supposed to be. More mellow for my mellow mood.

Tim Buckley
Happy Sad

Classic Buckley record sitting in my bins looking mostly sad so I'm giving it a spin. Not my favorite Buckley but probably his most accessible. Give me Starsailor any day though.

Freddie Redd
Shades of Freddie Redd

We got an original blue not mono copy of this in yesterday. Huge bucks. $500. Very rare jazz on a very expensive and collectible label. We have a buyer lined up so I'm play testing it in the shop at the moment. Sounds beautiful.

Jackie McLean is (was) one of those dudes who if you explore the records where he played on the side you’ll find mountains of great stuff.

Alan Hull
Squire

Classic folk album that seemed to pave the way for sh*tbags like Billy Joel to profit off of.

Slowdive
Souvlaki

Unfortunately don't have the record in the shop but I just felt like playing the CD today. Dreamy shoegaze. It's a classic so I don't have to describe why this sh*t is good but it just is. Not my favorite shoegaze record but one that makes me feel good whenever I hear it.
