Best business day ever. We had a very small selection of RSD titles so the eBay nerds were here early but we sold a sh*t ton of used records which is what we specialize in. I could have done without the annoying phone calls about records I didn't order but overall it was a nice price to pay for the income we took in. Now I need more jazz collections because I got cleared out hard.

The Jimmy Castor Bunch
Butt of Course...

Side A is pretty damn funky. Side B is pretty uninspiring soft soul junk. Still, what an album cover.

Dewey Terry
Chief

Pretty awesome R&B/Funk record from one half of Don and Dewey. Get's a little bluesy in spot. The physical record is pretty neat too. Gatefold folds out like an elementary school notebook.

The Alan Bown
Outward Bown

They repackaged this record with a new cover and a new name but it's basically Outward Bown. Nice jazz rock with an early psychedelic feel with a pretty bitchin' cover of "All Along the Watchtower" on side A. Good amount of horns on this too.

The Dramatics
A Dramatic Experience

Yeah, baby. Some soul funk for your goddamn Wednesday. The collection I bought is going to yield some sh*t that I might just have to bring home. I already brought home a Jimmy Castor Bunch record (not the butt one) so we'll see what else I managed to work for free for. I can't believe there wasn't a Parliament record in this collection. Not a one.

Sleep
Dopesmoker

I'm starting to realize that stoner/doom metal is strictly a headphones only listen because I just don't feel the energy from these types of droning albums. Maybe it's just not a shop play friendly thing.

Get some proper neighbor haters and give the fogies heart attacks.

Sun City Girls
Torch of the Mystics

While I was in Portland, I walked past a record shop and wandered in obviously. There on the wall was a sealed original copy of this behemoth of a record. It was, well, very expensive, but I said f*ck it and I bought it. I'm selling some records that I no longer have interest in to pay for it. Good trade!
