Love the granular effect on the covers for Crossing and The Light. What was your process behind creating those two (and in general)?

I've been incorporating a bit of noise in my recent stuff and the covers do a really nice job of implying that. Especially with the grittiness of some noise. The one for Crossing happened because I love the look of street lamps and I wanted to implement that somehow. And thank you! The Light is going to be a bit more focused on noise while also continuing to incorporate what I usually do. Should be a cool adventure.

Cats With Hats - Cats With Hats

I've got an album in the works and it's perhaps the biggest album I've ever made. I have many many ideas that I want to try to implement. I've got a theme ready and it's going to be crazy. Super excited. Stay tuned for some updates as I'll be working on this one for a good bit.

Update:

The final album that I'll be putting out this year will be coming out on November 1st, and I'm really excited for people to listen to it if they so choose. It's been quite the experience making the tracks for this one because I've sort of just let myself mindlessly pull certain things together and mess around with it for a while before I settle on the sound that I'm looking for. And that's that. So far, it's looking to be between the ranges of 12 - 15 tracks. Maybe more, maybe less. It's been one of the most creative albums I've ever made, and possibly the most fun as well. Making music is fun in general, but I've really put a lot more into each of these tracks to make them something special. At least I think.

Anyway, here's a little taste:

CWH - Breathing Underwater

Looking forward to seeing how this one turns out in the end. Really excited as well, of course.

CWH is now out

This is without a doubt the best album I have ever made and it's fitting due to the fact that it'll be the last album I make this year. I have a lot of fun ideas for 2020 but I wanna take the time to really flesh them out and make them work. This album pretty much brings everything that I have learned with the other albums and put it altogether in one 12 track album.

It's been a little while since I put an update in here, but anyway, I hope everyone is enjoying quarantine, etc etc etc.

With all of that, I decided it was time for me to make a pretty big concept album based on a mixture of thoughts toward the universe, and everything that goes along with that. In particular, Human was the start of that. I decided after I released that that I was going to look to follow it up with something pretty good. And so, right now, I'm currently working on the follow up the my Human EP, titled "What We Know Now"

As it currently stands, the album has surpassed 20 tracks, but these 20 tracks are probably some of the most intense and interesting music I've made in a long time. And I've even thrown in some bonus tracks for good measure. They're also quite interesting. I'm putting together tracks that mix synth bass, atmosphere, and space. It's putting my mental space into a whole different realm. Along with some surprises thrown in here and there. I'm expected to have it completely done and ready by mid October, but that could change if I put some time into it.

So, to wrap things up, I'm currently working on a new album, I'm quite happy with how this project is going right now and it's going to be a great album, and I'm very excited.
