I actually agree that extricate > bend sinister. I'm less sure about the frenz experiment

Humor me: why? |
Because telephone thing is the biggest bop ever, bill is dead makes me cry, and the monks covers rule
|
Telephone Thing is just ok to me. It's a bit dull and wears on me with repeat listens. Great Fall tracks, a lot of the time, feel like incantations. Telephone Thing is more akin to watching commuters get on and off a train forever. Bill Is Dead is too schmaltzy. I'd take Edinburgh Man or Reckoning over Bill is Dead if I'm in the mood for schmaltzy Fall. I'll give you the Monks cover, that does rule. And you forgot to mention the best track on the album, Chicago Now.
I think I'd take Shift-Work over Extricate honestly |

I've been on a mission for some time to get every Fall studio LP on vinyl. It's not easy. Some of their records have very limited pressings and are going for more than $200 secondhand (lookin at you Ersatz GB) - oh yeah, it doesn't help that most are in Europe so the shipping charges to the States are ridiculous.
