The funny thing is that during the emotional part at the end, for a polish person, it sounds like's saying (in a slang way) "I do tattoos and I vape" repeated into eternity

Hm

I was just randomly thinking about the translation of the polish word "usta" to English. And I checked google translate.

First of, I find that apparently english has at least one word less for naming "the mouth" than polish.
Second, google translate is wrong.

First: I'd translate "mouth" to "buzia" and "lips" to "wargi". With "buzia" being a homonym describing the part of your face with which you eat, but being also able to mean your "entire face" (though it's rather a word a toddler would've used in that sense, usually people call it a "twarz", meaning "face", but "buzia actually also means "face").

Second: "Wargi" being the exact synonim of "lips" (the two soft parts with which you kiss). But not the entire thing

"Usta" on the other hand is the word that describes only - just, purely, etc - the two lips put together.

Does someone know is there is a direct translation for that?

A thing that did make me feel sort of emotional, id that - my "sworn enemy" - ever since primary school - liked a track I've made with Kamaw Tut (the band I'm playing bass, singing and writing for).

It's not as surprising given the fact that he knows/he's friends with our drummer. But it still had made a weird emotional impact on me right now.

That's the track btw https://soundcloud.com/user-44099143...bulki-z-dzemem

Not connected ^

****, it's just today that I've started to believe in myself as a musician.
I'm listening to Kamaw Tut's jams
And I can't get out of the feeling that
I'm actually good at playing bass.

I mean, I'm practically leading the jam ffs.

I need to "meditate" upon this tomorrow.
I was always convinced that I'm good at theory and bad at actual playing.

Because skill is too low.

But now I find that
Actually the theory got assimilated in my brain to such a degree
That without proper playing skills
I'm playing incredibly complex stuff.

And that it's just this style of mine

Not good
Not bad
Just mine

Absurdly merited wtf

It's like someone can't decide whether he wants to be the Beatles or the Steely Dan

How can it be
I've just listened to the greatest song of all time
And it isn't the Beatles

Octopus's Garden, really, is Ringo's Revolver song

People often make fun it, but really it's an amazing piece of songwriting.
I think they mainly dismiss init because they compare it to the songwriting level of Lennon, McCartney and Harrisson from the Abbey Road period. And they hear it as a sort of a step-back?

But in really, it's a breath of fresh air

A reminder of the psychedelic era
When all was right, and fun and inventive

Just imagine how this song would fit perfectly on Revolver.

I was just watching a debate about whether the Bible is still relevant today. I got really frustrated when a bishop (who got enraged) said "WHERE WOULD WE BE AS A CIVILISATION WITHOUT THE TEN COMMANDMENTS"

I think people should revise the ten commandments and ask themselves whether they are actually worth anything

If you don't know what I mean by that, then let me do quick round up of the commandments:

1. "You shall not have other Gods before me"
this isn't a moral statement or commandment, it's a religious/brainwashing one.

2. "You shall not make idols"
this is somewhat contradictory to the first one - but if we assume it isn't, then this is basically the exact same thing as the first commandment.

3. "You shall not take the name of the lord, your god, in vain"
well, why not? Either way, this basically means that if you do believe in God, you shouldn't say "Christ! This hurts!" when you've got a broken leg.

Do you see where I'm going with this?

4. "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy"
this is basically a reminder to take a day off on Saturday

5. "Honor your father and your mother"
finally a good one! Though why should you honor your parents and not all of the humankind?

6. "You shall not kill"
this one is great. Sadly, it's not very original, and actually had been said a million times before.

7. "You shall not commit adultery"
I guess this one is fine. Though when you think of it for a while, it doesn't make sense. If it was "You shall not rape", then it would be fine. But adultery is a sexual intercourse between two people who want to have sex with each other, and yeah, sure, the partner who had been cheated on will be heart-broken, but all in all it's not really a crime against humanity. This one should be formulated with more grey area statements.

8. "You shall not steal"
again, same as n6: it's great, sadly it's not very original.

9. "You shall not bear alse witness against your neighbour"
I guess this means "don't lie". So all is fine, nothing wrong with that, sadly it's not very original and had been said a million times before.

10. "You shall not covet"
um...so...this one...is dumb. Look, I get that this is pretty much supposed to be a buddhist thing, as in "you shouldn't want material things in life, because it eon't bring you happiness" or something. But really, that's not what it says. It just says "you shouldn't want"

All in all, the ten commandments are useful only for the religious people who wish to praise their God properly, but as a moral compass it doesn't give you anything new (the important parts have been in circulation way before the Bible).
We would be in the exact same place as humankind/civilisation without the Ten Commandments.

I think that when people think of the commandments, they don't actually remember what do they say, but remember only the important ones ("don't kill", "don't steal", "don't lie") and think that the rest of the commandments are of the same caliber.

They're not.
People should really stop bringing these ten idiotic rules up, when there's a discussion about morality.

so...if the bing bang started the universe (all started at one single point in time and space), and that universe is expanding from then on, that means that the Big Bang was a white hole. Right?

Now, we know (or rather assume) that the universe at one point will cease to expand and it will start to shrink/condense.

Does that mean that the universe started with a white hole, and then it will revert the process and the universe will become a black hole?

Now, from what I understand out of this StarTalk (

) is that a black hole (it's singularity) might be a wormhole – or maybe it is a wormhole, but one that we don't know how to use at the moment – that leads to a white hole (so the reverse of a black hole – everything comes out of it and nothing enters).

Wouldn't that mean that the universe started out of another universe?

No, wait, wouldn't that mean that a black hole is actually a wormhole to a universe that is yet to be (or is - according to that particular universe)?

No! Wait!

So...wouldn't that mean that if a spacecraft would enter a black hole (and survive the pressure) it would actually just time travel?
That the "different" universes or "different dimensions" (as in SF) would just be time traveling between the same spot in space, but trillions of years after the moment the astronauts/robots entered it?

If all or any of this would be true, then there would be no coming back from travelling through wormholes. You can only go in and see what's there. You can't come back, you can't send a message back to tell us what's on the other side. Because 1)The People on Earth would actually be long dead and 2)it's physically impossible to enter (go back through) a white hole.

And people say that being a miner is a dangerous job.

This is literally the greatest piece of music I have ever heard

I mean

The art of Jam
The art of performance
The art of feeling
The art of music
The art of compassion
The art of mercy
Of the breeze of fresh air

And it’s all being elevated and covered by the mud of feelings and meaningfullness.

God

What a Joy it must have been to have been there
