Default Bulldog's UK Top 20 thread

About 10ish years ago, I managed to get a music blogging position with the Eastern Daily Press, my local newspaper.

At least, that's what I put on my CV afterwards. What it actually meant was I'd write things that virtually nobody would read for no pay, but as I was technically the only music blogger attached to a newspaper in all of East Anglia ("the Rump Of Great Britain", so to speak), I'd still get invites to gigs, parties, get to do interviews and stuff, so that was kinda cool (Julian Lloyd Webber and Glenn Tilbrook are the most famous people I met, if you're curious).

Anyway, the thing I used to do that was always kinda fun was once a month I'd listen to everything in the top 20 singles chart and write a few sentences about what I thought of each tune. Honestly, I was surprised by the amount of times I'd come across something pretty decent.

So, what the hell, mods willing, I'll do that again here. In ascending order and starting here...as soon as I get a minute

Let 'er rip. Hopefully the stuff you post is stuff I don't recognize. I discovered a number UK groups over the past two years, such as Royal Blood, Mysterines, The Snuts, Island, Strangeways (not "new", but new to me).
