I know what you mean. But at the same time... the summer was mostly spent sleeping for me and overall was a pretty boring summer. I'm uncharacteristically happy for school to be starting, mostly cause I'm starting a new school and the creative writing thing and meeting some interesting people and whatnot. There's something nice about having things to do
-
oh, that's okay about the delay. i haven't been on for a few weeks because i basically suck, too.
School is sucking up all of my free time and leaving me exhausted, but other than that, it's going pretty well. I just miss being able to be lazy without consequences.

Well that's ****ty. Whenever I think of California, I always think of how hilarious it is that they guy who starred in the Terminator is the governor, and then I think of how that must be pretty awful. Though it's a little amusing.
And...... school is back. And actually going really nicely. How about you? It's been a while because I basically suck.
-
I love sleep, but I rarely get enough...
Yep, thankfully it's summer. I've only got about a week left, then I'll be back to juggling everything again.
And you're incredibly lucky. The educational system in California (along with everything else) is ****ed, because the people here were stupid enough to elect another actor and not expect any consequences. I think we're in the bottom 5 of the states in amount of money we spend on each student.
(Btw, sorry about the delay. I've been on vacation.)

I actually like sleeping. And I spend an inordinate amount of time doing it. But I know what you mean. Thankfully it's summer right now which means relaxation, but during the school year I often have that feeling. And you're right, it can actually be fun sometimes. It's so much better than having nothing to do.
And yes, I know, it's as awesome as it sounds. One of the benefits of living in Connecticut, and we really have to cling to those.
-
Hey, you do too.
And sometimes, it's actually fun to be busy.
That is, when you're not juggling a social life, your sanity, school, "hobbies" (god, I despise that word so much), making sure the house doesn't look like a cesspool, and having time to stuff a few chips down your throat every once in a while. Sleep? Who needs sleep?
And missing school to take creative writing classes for college credit? COUNT ME IN. Also, I wish I could act worth a crap. Quite frankly, I'm ****ing awful.
-
No it's no problem. As far as having an "art", I play two instruments but I don't write songs or anything- just enjoy playing them. I'm also starting a creative writing thing as part of school next year (missing school to take writing classes, while getting college credit:D) so there's that too. And then I like doing other things like acting or whatnot, but as it turns out there are limited hours in a day and some of them must be devoted to eating and sleeping. And there's things like listening to music and watching movies and reading books and playing games and taking walks and generally enjoying life to do.
But you sound pretty damn busy, and that's cool.
-
Yeah, exactly that. I've got a crapload of interests already (writing, music, drawing, thrifting, DIY, cooking, politics, etc) and there's still so many more things I'd like to try... but I know if I do, I'm either going to be over or underwhelmed. :/
I'm a little curious now, haha... got any creative pursuits? I don't mean to pry.
-
I know what you mean. It's weird... sometimes I feel like I have too many interests, and sometimes I feel like I don't have enough.
I don't really draw besides occasionally doodling. I definitely couldn't be called a drawer.
-
Yeah, I do draw sometimes. It's another one of those things that takes a lot of day-to-day practice and work put in to get any kind of proficient at it, and I... just haven't been doing it that much anymore. **** happens.
Do you draw?
