Your picture *does* go with your name! :) And thanks for listening to some of the songs/reading some lyrics. In "Room" the singer can't/won't love someone openly (as in she won't have an affair, even though the feelings are there) and so she imagines sensual (but not overtly sexual) anatomical places throughout her body where there is room for this person, since imaginary places are all she can offer. It's a song for 50-year-old married people. Heh heh..."Wring"! I like that one, too. It interests me that sometimes people hearing "Wring" don't seem to realize the intention is ironic...that is, the song intends to show how cruel and sadistic the mentality of eating others is (in my view), rather than embrace that mentality.

Oh thank you! I really like it myself, I think it somewhat goes with my name. Anyway, I forgot to mention I was skimming across some of your poetry and songs and was really impressed! So far I haven't yet read "Africa", as I'm taking it in piecemeal. But out of what I have read, three stood out. I thought your song "Room" was very beautiful and poetic, though I couldn't put my finger on its meaning. I also like "Free", and listened to it a couple times.. it's very peaceful. My absolute favorite was "Wring", I guess maybe I personally respond to darker songs- but I thought it much more powerful then songs like "Dichotomy". I really prefer the in your face approach to anything else. It was like good art punk.

Whoa! That's a wild, new, artistic avatar you've got there! :)

Thank you for your message!! I'm still feeling pretty serene...yes, you are right...but it helps to hear that someone follows my reasoning. I understand people can get frustrated. I once made a sarcastic comment to someone, a stranger, 2 years ago...and I felt I had a good reason for my frustration. I apologized immediately, but I still felt sad that I had purposefully hurt this person by not controlling my actions. Telling my point constructively would have been so much better than using sarcasm...there is so much sadness already in the world. Your visitor's message cheered me up. I value your opinion. Thank you, Adam. --Erica

Dear Vegangelica, holy crap. I just read what "another member" posted in response to your latest post on The Unfan. I hope you have better luck next time you chose to speak your truths... maybe you should shoot for a law degree!
Anyway I wanted to casually stop by and say that I personally believe your points were valid, constructive, and important. If I were to create a perfect world, run by philosopher kings, I would make sure you had one of the strongest voices around!
I'm sure you didn't give away any serenity to somebody's frustrated comments, and I hope very much to see you still lurking around the forum rooms. Wishing you a serene and lovely evening and looking immensely forward to reading more intriguing and heart-felt posts from you soon!

I'm glad my story seems inspirational. One reason I thought I'd share it is I know there are a lot of people who have had similar experiences. I never predicted how much it could change a person...I became very angry and turned most of that inward on myself as shame and self-contempt, which I think you know can lead to damaging decisions. It took many years to finally feel free of that pattern of thinking.
