It plays in the background in this video from the very start. It's more funky than the original but I can't figure out who made it.

No, it has more hiphop sounding drums and more funk guitar sounds layered on top of it.

Hmmm. True dat. Well, it seems like it's not on youtube in that case. Maybe it was done but a local DJ? I would get in touch with the bar/café and see if they'll let you in on their secret.
