Default The Party Ain't Over -Wanda Jackson

I posted this in Album reviews- but this may be the more appropriate place?

Wanda Jackson is in her Seventees now but delivers a humdinger of an album under the musical direction of Jack White.
The album manages to be both musically inovative & inventive while still havin g the sound & feel of an authentic rockabilly feel.
The range of songs covered is also interesting- from the cou ntry gospel classic Dust on the Bible to Dylans' Thunder on the Mountain & taking in Rum & Coca Cola.
These are not just run of the mill covers. The instrumentation is initially unsettling but compelling. Since this was added to my collection this week, it is my most listened to
Certainly top release of the year so far. And a big Mazel Tov to Jack White & Wanda Jackson for making the most original comeback album we've seen in a long time
