I'm on "S" right now, so To Pimp a Butterfly is coming up soon. I'll finally get to hear the album everyone is raving about. I wonder if, in my mind, it'll live up to the hype. I preemptively rated the album 1 star just to be safe.

Why would you rate it before listening?

Because everything else he's done has been a strong 1 for me. Just covering my bases.

Was there any question it wouldn't be? I know few who don't have it somewhere on their list.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

I think this is a decent album. Not perfect, not album of the decade, or even last year for that matter. It's a bit inconsistent and I wish there were more tracks like The Blacker the Berry, Wesley's Theory, and King Kunta. Oh, and I love These Walls - it's clever

Definitely agree there. The boo boos sound a little too much like Tom Haverford for my liking.

Hood Politics is one of my favorite tracks on there actually.
